This Vitamin D3 supplement comes in liquid drop form and has a pleasant orange flavor. It can be added to food or beverages, or taken directly from the dropper. Vitamin D supports normal bone, teeth, muscle, and immune function, and aids in the absorption of calcium and phosphorus. It is commonly known as "the sunshine vitamin" due to its natural production in the skin when exposed to sunlight. However, during the winter months, it can be difficult to get enough Vitamin D from sunlight, which is why Public Health England recommends supplementing with it to maintain bone and muscle health. While most Vitamin D3 supplements are derived from sheep's wool, these Vitamin D drops from Viridian are vegan and made from lichen.
