Balanced Iron Complex provides a gentle, effective form of iron to support healthy haemoglobin production and red blood cell formation. It features iron bisglycinate, a chelated form of iron known for being well‑tolerated and easy on the digestive system. The formula also includes synergistic vitamin C to enhance iron absorption, along with vitamin B12, an essential nutrient involved in energy‑yielding metabolism and red blood cell formation.
Iron plays a vital role in reducing tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal cognitive function. Although iron is found in foods such as red meat, shellfish, pumpkin seeds and spinach, deficiency is common — the World Health Organization identifies iron as the nutrient most likely to be lacking in both women and men. Low iron levels may lead to feelings of fatigue, dizziness and weakness, particularly during menstruation or when following a vegan or vegetarian diet.
The iron in this formula is provided as iron bisglycinate, a form bound to the amino acid glycine to support bioavailability and digestive comfort. This makes it a gentler alternative to commonly used forms such as ferrous fumarate or ferrous sulfate.
